The breakfast was savoury, perfect with smoked salmon. It was airy and I had coffee/tea makers, a work desk and a TV set. The location was central, just off other pubs in the area, gorgeous garden, and Lancaster castle.
The room was a little small, for me personally.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the comfy bed and the great food selection. The garden area was lovely for evening drinks, and I appreciated the cozy lounge to chill in. The shower was a bit on the smaller side, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! 😊

perfect base for exploring broughton with excellent walks nearby
I loved that I could step out of my room and find beautiful walking paths right at my doorstep. The warm atmosphere. I really enjoyed the fresh breakfast that started my day on a high note. The only area for improvement would be the need for hypoallergenic bedding, as my allergies weren't fully accommodated during my one night stay.

The kids loved the delicious fish and chips from the restaurant, while we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Everyone was cute, and it was great to unwind by the fire after exploring the area.
In my wife's opinion, more kid-friendly activities would be great.

Cozy spot for solo adventurers!
Spent 2 nights here and really enjoyed it! The bed was super comfy, and the staff were really friendly. The breakfast options were delicious and filling, just what you need after a day of exploring. The bathroom was a bit tight, though, could be improved. A solid stay!

The room was cozy and charming, with a large, super comfy bed. It was clean and well-decorated, feel inviting. The atmosphere was really nice, too, giving off a homely vibe. The only thing was the size. It was a bit snug but honestly, it just added to the character of the place!

Charming stay with great vibes
Had a lovely 1 night here! The atmosphere's super cozy, reminded me of stepping back in time. The owners and staff were super friendly, made everything more enjoyable. I had to grab breakfast a bit early, and they were really accommodating. Just a bummer that service is a bit slow at dinner. Could use some speed!
